Sophie Joerg is a full Professor at the University of Bamberg leading the Computer Graphics Lab.

Prior to joining the University of Bamberg in 2023, she was an Associate Professor at Clemson University in South Carolina. She received her PhD in 2011 at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and furthermore conducted research at Carnegie Mellon University and Disney Research, Pittsburgh.
