The Bachelor of Arts in Medieval Studies provides students with an important basis for further studies and for professions in which skills from the field of cultural studies with a historical perspective are required. These include archives, libraries, museums, work in press and public relations and in cultural promotion.

You can consolidate the knowledge you have acquired by pursuing a master’s programme in the humanities.
In Bamberg, you have the opportunity to begin master’s studies immediately after your bachelor’s studies without having to take a long break. We offer a consecutive master’s programme that is a continuation of the bachelor’s degree programme in Medieval Studies:
