About the Instructor:

Dr. Simone Alfarano is Associate Professor at the University Jaume I of Castellón (UJI). He is director of the UJI Chair of Excellence from the Bank of Spain in Computational Economics and Director of the UJI Master in Economics. His research is mainly framed in Computational Economics, Financial Economics, Macroeconomics and Behavioral Economics.  Dr. Alfarano has published in economic journals as well in journals of applied Physics such as Computational Economics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Industrial and Corporate Change, and Physical Review E, among others. He is associate editor of Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization (JEBO) and Journal of Economic Interaction and Coordination (JEIC).
