You are …
- an intrinsic motivated student of computer science (or comparable), psychology (or comparable) with a Bachelor degree or a fresh Master degree
- interested in practical research
- open for a substantial work contract during the summer term (half-time or even full-time if you are on a semester on leave (Urlaubssemester))
“Support the field study” could mean that you or your team members …
- organize mobility data collection campaigns, e.g., on bicycle data
assemble open-source sensor systems to collect data - collect mobility data yourself using different transportation modes in Bamberg
- anonymize, analyze, and visualize intermodal mobility data
conduct surveys and interviews
We offer …
- multiple positions for research assistants and graduate assistants (E12 for students with Bachelor, E13 with Master) starting from 50% for 6 months (1.4.-30.9.2025), depending on your situation, qualification, and remaining study load
- a work place in the MOBI lab at the WE5 building
Your application …
- should contain a short motivation letter containing your preferred contract option (research assistant (“Wimi”) or graduate assistant (“Hiwi”) and if you prefer part-time or full-time), a CV, and a transcript of record, preferable in a combined PDF
