Short biography

Clara Overweg studied Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the University College Maastricht and at the Humboldt University of Berlin. From 2017 to 2018, she worked at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Vienna in the field of age research under the supervision of Prof. Franz Kolland. She then worked as a student assistant at the Berlin Social Science Center as part of the National Educational Panel Study from 2019 to 2021. Since 2023 she has been working at the Chair of Sociology, especially Family and Work. Since 2024 she has been doing her doctorate at the Humboldt University of Berlin as part of the DYNAMICS program with Prof. Johannes Giesecke on migration and old-age security.
