The project conducted with the title 'Managed Outcomes’ at the University of Bamberg is part of a European research project which is also titled 'Managed Outcomes' and which is financed by the EU. The whole project is concerned with operations management in health care. The part of the project conducted in Bamberg addresses the perspective of the health care users, i.e. the patients and/or their proxies. For this purpose, surveys concerned with diabetes, stroke, hip-osteoarthritis and dementia are performed in Germany, Finland, Greece, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Spain.
