GPEN Teacher Academy (GPEN TAC)
The GPEN Teacher Academy (GPEN TAC) starts in January 2025 and offers opportunities for professional development for teachers, headteachers, and stakeholders in education in the network of GPEN.
Learning together by inputs from experts, shared reflection on practice, and identification of next steps for implementation result in a better understanding of the needs for schooling today. At the same time, the GPEN family is being strengthened and occasions for topic-specific or regional networks are being formed.
The offer of the GPEN Teacher Academy is realized as webinar series. Six webinars are combined under one main topic. Each webinar can be attended individually with a confirmation for participation. Participation in the entire series of six webinars will be specially recognized. The webinars will take place as interactive units in Zoom about once a month and last 90 minutes.
With the first series ?Digitalization and Protestant Schools“ we take up the last GPEN Conference on Protestant Education in the Digital Era and the “Koforidua Theses on Digital Schooling in Protestant Schools” developed there. Another series of webinars in 2025 will put the focus on peace education (more details coming).
